Further Education
Sense College Loughborough supports a wide range of students to achieve their potential. All students have an individual learning plan, with targets and goals agreed between themselves and their tutor.
Students on our further education programme follow one of three pathways; Vocational, Creative & Enterprise and Sensory. These pathways offer learning opportunities for students with different goals and aspirations, whether that is employment, volunteering, independent living or accessing community activities.
Students on all pathways may spend time in the college's enterprises, which are working environments where we learn on the job. In these areas, students can learn skills specific to the workplace, as well as embedded literacy & numeracy, independent living skills, communication, teamwork, and so much more!

College Enterprises
The College's enterprise curriculum forms the foundation of our in-house programmes.
Each of our enterprises gives students the opportunity to develop new skills in a realistic setting. The enterprises provide a practical work environment designed to develop a range of transferable skills.
Students provide a service to the college through the enterprises, which means that the work is real and gives them a sense of pride and satisfaction in their achievements.
All of the enterprises are backed up by the Therapies team to embed speech and language therapy and physiotherapy into the day-to-day activities. Maths, English and IT are often embedded in the enterprise activities as well.
