Governors

Governors

Sense College Loughborough has a Governing Body that regularly meets to support the management of the College.

The Governing Body plays a key role in setting and monitoring overall strategy and quality standards, although it is not involved directly in the day-to-day management and operation of the College.

Our Governors bring a range of skills and experiences in areas such as sight loss, finance, social care, safeguarding and equality and diversity. The Governing Body is made up of co-opted community governors, staff and a representative of our partner agency, Loughborough College.

As the College is part of the national Sense organisation, governors do not have final responsibility for policy and financial control but have an important part to play in advising and influencing Sense with regard to College issues.
