Local Jobcentre Plus (JCP) Operations Manager, Dez Grant spent the day at the College as part of DWP Community 10,000, an initiative giving staff the opportunity to volunteer for a day with organisations supporting DWP customers. Dez helped Further Education students paint exhibits for our Africa Day as well as touring the College. He took time to hear about different experiences with Jobcentre Plus, finding out about each student's unique journey as well as answering JCP queries. It was a great opportunity to show off our facilities for students with sight loss and other disabilities. Dez said 'I had a great day, it was really informative. The insight was brilliant and I'm telling everyone about it.'

It is great that Dez will be speaking about his experiences with colleagues to further raise the profile of our DWP funded employment programme.
