The College has retained the coveted Investors in People Gold Award, after first achieving the prestigious standard in 2011.

Investors in People was established to help organisations get the best from their people and is recognised across the world as a mark of excellence.

There was a rigorous assessment process involving a significant number of staff meeting the Investors in People Assessor over a three day process. They asked questions about the College leadership and strategy, training opportunities, communication, and community involvement. This gave the Assessor the opportunity to seek the views of staff in a variety of different roles across the College. Of all the organisations that have the Investors in People award only 3% have the Gold standard, so this is a great achievement.

The College achieved 186 of out of a possible 196 evidence requirements, and organisations need 165 to meet Gold Standard.

June Murray, Acting Principal said 'We feel very proud of this achievement. Each and every colleague in College impacts on the experience our students receive, so we really want to do the best we can for our staff. We are delighted to have this recognised for a second time running, through receiving the IIP Gold Award.'

Their enthusiasm is infectious and due, in no small part, to excellent and inspired leadership and is very refreshing to experience.'
