A new feature canvas hangs proudly at the entrance of the RNIB College's Conference Centre. The Conference Centre is newest addition to the student led enterprise environment at the College. The four, 1ft by 4ft tactile sections were decorated by over 30 students. Designing this piece coincided with the start of term so it was a great chance for new and returning students to work jointly developing new friendships. The canvas gave students the opportunity to practice a variety of skills including gluing, threading, painting, cutting and colour combinations. The College was delighted when the completed piece was revealed. It represents real team work and has bought a great sense of pride and achievement to those involved as it hangs proudly for visitors to see and touch.
