First Stop Motion Film Festival at RNIB College Loughborough

As part of the build up to Christmas, RNIB College Loughborough held their first ever Stop Motion Film Festival involving students, staff and even the local primary school. Stop Motion is an animation technique involving an object being moved in very small increments with pictures being taken after each movement. This gives the object the illusion it is moving. Staff and students were encouraged in their teams to come up with an idea and make it a film reality! There was a whole array of footage from arty clips, to comical clips and mini Christmas themed movies. The show revealed a number of talented film makers and the College hopes to build on this for next year, making it an annual event in the diary.
