RNIB College Loughborough's second Sight Loss Information and Training Day was another full house! The training, targeted at people working in a customer facing roles attracted attendees from the public, private and voluntary sector. The session gave attendees a basic insight of what it could be like living with sight loss, giving them some understanding into the lives of their potential customers. There was a range of engaging activities, including a 'Generation Game' style game with people undertaking activities blindfolded. This involved putting on tooth paste, making a sandwich and depicting a tactile. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from College students. Good fun was had by all, with attendees going away thinking about the customer service they provide for people with sight loss.
