Students have been working hard to create a new bespoke canvas, The Bird, which is now proudly displayed in the College reception. The Birds feathers are tactile sections which have been decorated with coloured buttons, sequins, painted shells and other decorations. This project was the first key piece of work for the Craft Studio this year, so was a great opportunity to help assess the students, identify their strengths and how they like to work. It also started to imbed the sense of team spirit as students worked together to form this amazing piece.
