Multimedia Trainer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our teaching team as the Multimedia Trainer in the College's new Media Hub. You will be helping students learn how to improve and enrich their lives by making the most of assistive technology and multi-media.Your main roles will be to provide training for students in the functional use of multimedia and assistive technology, to provide media services across college, and to act as personal tutor

£20,289 per annum pro rata Contract type: Permanent Hours: 36 hrs per week, 52 weeks per year

Support Worker (Internal Only)

Please note this job is only open to internal applicants who are currently employed by RNIB, or working for RNIB as a volunteer, agency worker or contractor.As a Support Worker, you will provide care and support for blind and partially sighted students and those with other disabilities at the RNIB Stan Bell Centre, Loughborough. You will enable students to gain the confidence and skills needed to make informed choices and progress towards independence.You will have achieved or be willing to work towards NVQ / QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

£16,426 per annum pro rata (£8.75 per hour) Contract type: Zero Hours Hours: Zero hours per week 38 weeks a year

Care Supervisor - Waking Nights (Internal Only)

This is an opportunity to join a friendly, flexible team supporting students in the halls of residence of the specialist RNIB College in Loughborough.

The post holder will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Care Manager in overseeing the quality of service provided for learners by our Support Workers and provide personal, intellectual, social, emotional and physical support to learners, including the administration of regular and emergency medication.

You will also have delegated management responsibility for staff on site, with specific line management responsibility for allocated staff.

£18,906 per annum pro rata (£10.07 per hour) Contract type: Permanent Hours: 31.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
