COVID-19 Information

COVID-19 Information (updated 23 April 2020)

During the current lockdown, the College is open for those young people who still need to come into College. A small number of students are still attending our Further Education and our Social Care funded provision.

A number of staff are coming in each day to support our students and service users, and to maintain provision and essential business activities. Many of our staff are working from home.

We are maintaining a safe environment by following the latest government guidelines as well as taking advice from Natspec (the National Association of Specialist Colleges) who have compiled a handy section with resources on their website; www.natspec.org.uk

Further Education students at home are being provided with work and activities to ensure that where possible they can continue their learning. We appreciate this may be difficult for some families. If you want advice or support from your young person's tutor, please email them directly, or call and we will get a message to them to contact you. Our staff are also contacting parents and carers regularly.

We are also providing activities for our Flexible Futures service users who are at home to help them keep active and maintain their well-being.

Please get in touch with us if your young person's needs change unexpectedly, or if parents/carers are required to work, so that we can support them in College.

If you want to make a general enquiry or speak more specifically about the College, you can contact us by email on enquiries@rnibcollege.ac.uk for generic enquiries, or our Principal on jmurray@rnibcollege.ac.uk. You can also call the College reception on 01509 611 077.
