Sense College Loughborough currently supports over 90 students on our education programme, between the ages of 16 & 25. All students have an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP).
The majority of our students and service users are based in Leicestershire, and some join us from surrounding counties such as Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
We are able to support people with a wide range of disabilities including:
- mild, moderate or severe learning difficulties
- communication difficulties
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Asperger's Syndrome
- sight loss
- mild hearing impairment
- physical disabilities
- managed chronic illness
- Diabetes or Epilepsy
- any combinations of the above
Very rarely we are unable to accept an applicant because we do not feel we can meet their needs. When this occurs it is usually because we believe that behaviour cannot be managed sufficiently well to ensure the welfare of the applicant or other vulnerable learners. Please contact us if you would like further details.
