During the last 12 months Ofsted inspectors have visited RNIB College 3 times. Most recently was an inspection of our care provision.

The report graded us as "Good with Outstanding Features" it also said "RNIB College Loughborough cultivates learner's personal development and this includes their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The College operates a wholly inclusive environment so that learners develop the skills and personal qualities needed to progress in life".

The annual monitoring visit concluded that the College was making "Significant Progress" against 4 areas of development and "Reasonable Progress" against 2 areas of development, with no lower grades being awarded. It states "There has been a significant improvement in the achievement of qualifications and in particular key skills both within the RNIB College and Loughborough College".

The last full College inspection was in February 2008, this report stated "Adult learners on RTU programmes make good gains in confidence, which enables them to actively seek employment and develop useful job seeking skills".
