The College website is now officially accessible to blind and partially sighted people as a "See it right" audit has been undertaken and officially passed.

This means that http://www.rnibcollege.ac.uk is now as accessible to a blind or partially sighted internet user as it is to a sighted user.

The RNIB College is the only educational organisation that holds this status in the whole of UK.

Adrian Linney the Web Accessibility Consultant who audited the website said:

"RNIB College Loughborough's website has been awarded RNIB See It Right logo as a mark of its achievement of a high level of accessibility. It is clearly important that the College website is optimised for accessibility for its target audience. This web site was made fully accessible due to RNIB College Loughborough's commitment to ensuring their site visitors can get the information they want, without any of the barriers that websites can present when requirements for users who are disabled has not been adequately considered. In addition, the close co-operation between RNIB College Loughborough, RNIB Web Access Team and the website developers, working together, ensured the website passed RNIB See It Right web accessibility guidelines as smoothly as possible."
