Our annual family open day is a celebration event for current and prospective learners and their families.

The day starts around 10.30am and finishes at 2.30pm. Lunch and refreshments are available throughout the day.

Morning activities include:

• Craft
• Cookery
• Using braille and accessible technology
• Advice will be provided by Connexions and our Employment Skills team
• Prospective learners and parents will have the opportunity to have one-to-one sessions with senior managers
• The College shop and new catering service will be open and welcoming families to see how skills are being used in a practical setting, to purchase items and sample our home made meals prepared by learners.

In the afternoon Graham Owen, Head of Care, is presenting a training session to parents about transition after College, including individualised budgets and supported living. Learners and prospective learners will be taking part in an activity session that provides a taster of our extended curriculum programme.
