As well as a chance to get into the festive spirit the Winter Festival provided the perfect opportunity to officially open the College's new Faith and Reflection Room.

The Faith and Reflection Room can be used by groups or individuals for prayer, meditation, reflection or contemplation. The room contains books and artefacts that will support observance of a number of different faiths and beliefs. Details of local support and religious groups, churches, mosques, temples and other places of religious assembly are also provided in this room.

The room provides a quite space for learners and staff of any faith, belief or non-faith to use. The College's local Chaplain, Father Joe, and a member of the Leicestershire Council of Faiths, were invited to announce the room officially open.
