On Monday 12 March a second group of learners set off on their annual holiday to Bognor Regis in Sussex to enjoy a week of sunshine and activities.
Arriving around midday, learners ate lunch on the pebbled beach, taking advantage of the warm weather (15 degrees and sunny). Afterwards they spent a bit of time settling in to the hotel and they tried out the facilities with a swim in the hotel pool. In the evening learners explored the promenade before getting an early night after a long day of travelling.
The next day started out with a trip to Portsmouth where learners visited the aquarium and got a close look at some of the local sea life, including star-fish and crabs. In the afternoon the group walked in to Bognor Regis to look around and do some shopping.
Other activities throughout the week included a trip to the Wetlands Centre, a visit to the local fishing town of Littlehampton, plenty of relaxing walks and they even got to put their feet up on the longest bench in Britain.
