Visitors came from all over the country on Saturday 6 October to attend RNIB College Loughborough's annual Family Open Day. The day proved a great success with well over 150 people through the doors. The morning included tours of the College and halls of residence, T-shirt printing in the Arts Centre, games and sport in the court yard and demonstrations of access technology. The College enterprises were also in full swing with the College shop selling hand made products and seasonal gifts. While learners enjoyed themselves, parents got the chance to attend talks about the new funding procedures, the transitions process and a question and answer sessions with key members of staff. After a superb buffet lunch learners enjoyed karaoke and games in the arts centre. We would like to thank all those who attend the family open day and look forward to seeing you again at our up and coming events including:

• Christmas Craft Fair – Saturday 1 December, 10am – 12 noon.
• Winter Festival – Friday 14 December, 10am - 2pm
