On Friday 27 September, staff and students took part in the Macmillan coffee morning raising vital funds to ensure that more people have access to a Macmillan support team from diagnosis, and then through and after treatment. This is part of Macmillan's campaign to ensure that no one will have to face cancer alone.

Students worked hard to bake and decorate cakes, and everyone gathered in the Bell Bar to have a drink and cake. In the previous week, students had set themselves the challenge of raising £100, so when the grand total was in, it was fantastic to see that we had beaten the target and raised £120.

Thank you to everyone who donated, and all the bakers that helped make the coffee morning a success.
