Students and staff celebrated the Read for RNIB initiative with a book swap to raise awareness for the opportunities for reading and sharing books. Students and staff gathered together at the College shop and together had audio books, braille, large print, magazines, fiction and non-fiction to share. Tony Warren, College Principal joined the swapping and said 'This is a great idea, we've been promoting the initiative locally for the past six weeks to gather momentum for Read for RNIB day and it's made colleagues really reflect on everyone having the opportunity to read.' The official day for Read for RNIB was Friday 11 October but we hope that local awareness raising and fundraising activities will carry on throughout the month.
