The Bell family and their local pub The Ram at Ibstock have raised £670 for RNIB College Loughborough. Liam's parents are really pleased with his progression over the past few years. Mrs and Mr Bell really wanted to give something back to the College for all the help they've given Liam and themselves.

Mrs Bell arranged a variety of fundraising activities together with The Ram at Ibstock, and had set herself a challenging target of £200. When she came in to give College staff the news she was completely overwhelmed as they'd raised £670. This was done through a whole host of activities at the pub, including a tombola, raffle and bucket collection.

On Friday 15 November Mrs Bell and family joined News Desk the College's weekly student meeting to present the cheque to College Principal Tony Warren and RNIB Regional Fundraising Manager Haidee Turner.

Tony was delighted by the fundraising activity and felt it shows just how much the College means to the Bell family and the impact that the College is having on their son's life.
