RNIB College Loughborough has been selected for Nationwide Building Society's charitable donation initiative, Community Match, which allows members to vote in-branch for which of three local charities they would like to receive a £500 donation.

We have been shortlisted for the vote during July to September in five of Nationwide's branches – Swadlincote, Burton on Trent, Coalville, Ashby De La Zouch and Loughborough. Anyone can pop in and vote for us, so please visit your nearest branch and ask for more information.

Community Match is a fantastic way for our members to get involved and tell us exactly where our funding, volunteering and fundraising efforts should be focused – after all, our members know their communities better than anyone else.'

Community Match is a charitable giving scheme, which takes place at Nationwide's branches across the UK, enabling its members to be directly involved in deciding which charities the building society supports at a local level by using tokens to vote.

RNIB College Loughborough support students with a range of disabilities, offering a Further Education programme and Social Care funded day time and residential activities for young adults. The College will also be opening its door this year for their Family Open Day on Saturday 3 October, Sight Loss Information and Training Day on 12 November and the Winter Craft Fayre on Saturday 28 November.
